See Absolute Favorite Landscape Design Inspiration Sources

As you know, I’ve been thinking a lot about landscaping lately. I met with a landscaper last week and received an e-mail yesterday from him stating that he had almost completed our Plan. I’ll see him next week to see what ideas he has. In the meantime, I’m a little concerned about two specific sources of landscaping inspiration, and I wanted to make sure you knew about them if you’re looking for Inspiration for your own landscaping.

Garden Response YouTube Channel
Over the past two weeks, I’ve been putting videos on the Garden Answer Youtube channel whenever I get the chance. I can’t get enough of it. Never in my life would I have thought to sit down and watch an hour-long video tour of someone walking through their landscaping and explaining all the details, and yet that’s exactly what I’m doing. And I can’t get enough of it. I will share some screenshots from their garden tour in June to give you an idea of how their videos will look.

The woman’s name is Laura and the landscape that surrounds her house is absolutely beautiful. But I like the fact that it’s still a work in progress and she still has a lot of work to do. In her videos, she shares the process of picking plants, explains why she chooses a few, and then explains why she places certain plants in certain areas.

She uses such a beautiful combination of plants, rugged landscapes and decorative garden objects like fountains. She has obviously been doing this for a long time, because she is very knowledgeable while learning.

I am always impressed by her in-depth knowledge of the plants she planted on her two-acre site. She can easily make the names of the plants sound. It’s really great! And because of its gardens, I really fell in love with the idea of a driveway and gravel paths. They are so charming.

I also like the variety of areas she planted. It has many landscaped areas that are simply supposed to be beautiful and welcoming, like this beautiful area below…

But she also has a fenced vegetable garden which is as beautiful as the others, but which actually produces food for her chickens and her family.

And then there is the chicken coop with beautiful plants that surround it and other beautiful gardens that you can only browse and appreciate for their beauty.

And then she has another area with flower beds where she plants berries (ripe, I think), then she has this large area specially for a cut flower garden.

Speaking of which, she also creates gorgeous cut flower arrangements, so that’s also fun to watch.

So, if I had to choose my all-time favorite, the Garden Answer Youtube channel would be my choice. I can watch his videos all day long.

Bobby K. is designing a YouTube channel

The Bobby K. Designs YouTube channel is my favorite for very practical information such as: “How much does it cost?”Bobby is a real landscaper, and he takes houses in the real world and makes these beautiful models with what so ever computer program he uses. I really enjoy watching the process as he takes an ordinary yard and starts creating his design on the tembowl. He explains the process and why he chooses certain elements. I also really like that he makes models of houses around the country so that you can see what works where.

What I also really like about his videos is that he gives the actual estimated cost depending on whether you want to carry out the project or if you want to hire someone to do the Installation for you. You can see in the screenshot above that it has the estimated cost of DIY, while the one below includes the estimated cost of Installation by a company like yours.
